Here are some examples of projects I've done.

Re-opening of Jazz House Montmartre // Corporate Identity

From 1959 to 1976 Montmartre was one of the leading jazz venues in the world, that attracted great American artists like Ben Webster, Ed Thigpen, Stan Getz, Kenny Drew and Dexter Gordon to relocate their life to Copenhagen. It re-opened after 34 yeras in May 2010 in the original legendary premises in “Store Regnegade”.

Inspired by the graphic lines on music note paper (the base of all music). I created a signature which lies playful on top of the note lines, becoming the center of the musical tune in a visual universe.
This signature shall be a sign of status and regarded as a quality stamp. The letters are dynamic and imperfect, it should look like an artist’s signature, it possess the feeling of energy, spontanity, uniqueness and personal relation - just like any evening in the Montmartre Jazz House.

Unicef charity cd // Packaging

Children First is a charity cd for Unicef composed by Carsten Johs. This opera oriented album describes the human life cycle with a focus on children. This fragmented hand symbolizes the unity of people and human reaction, in other words if we all help out we can make a difference. The colors are references to Africa and India with the touch of blue, the color of hope.

Upscale coffee // Event campaign

I was asked to do this event campaign for Nespresso to celebrate the fact that they’re opening 40 stores around the world in 2009/10. They asked for a revealing step-by-step store and facade concept, much like the zipper idea they had on Champs-Élysées a couple of years ago. So I came up with this idea to have these golden coffee capsules suspended in a huge piece of fabric (spandex material), and then bit by bit cut open the fabric and reveal the capsules and the opening date. All the interior was inspired by the same idea: to have furniture pushed throw the fabric (think Alien). Of cause they went for an idea that was more conventional, so you’ll just have to wait and see.

Organic Madame Blue // Corporate identity

‘Mon Sandwicherie’ is a healthy organic Danish sandwich takeaway café and gallery in Paris. The graphic concept is inspired by the old Danish blue enamel kitchen utensils with a splash of dynamic vegetables. The turquoise colour represent the well known ‘Madame blå’ (Madame blue) coffee pot which is the symbol of our grandmothers kitchen and the Danish warm atmosphere. ‘Mon Sandwicherie’ expresses the local grocery shop feel, the small shop where everything is made with love, care and a personal touch.

Ruinart Champagne // Architectural branding

Vive la France // Corporate Identity & branding

As part of rejuvenating its tourism industry the French Government launched a re-branding and new identity strategy. The objective was to establish a strong, united visual identity that could be used throughout the industry as well as to standardize the image of France worldwide. The design is a fluid feminine figure that is modern, sensual, timeless and forward-looking. www.franceguide.com

Re(mer)maid / Innovative tourism project

Re(mer)made is an innovative project aiming to promote new upcoming Danish designers and artists by inviting them to rethink, reinterpret and redesign the Little Mermaid. From these new creations will come an entirely fresh an innovative way of seeing and selling souvenirs in Denmark: original, accessible, funky, creative, fun and futuristic, but grounded in a globally recognised Danish icon.

The reference is taken from Vinyl Art Toys, a new term to describe toys and other collectibles that are produced in limited editions (50-2,000 pieces) and created by artists and designers. So the idea is to launch a limited edition designer Mermaids and make it a collectibles. Then every year have a new group of Danish designers and artists create new collections to keep the Mermaids in circulation.

Organic treats for your best friend // Packaging

This is something I did for a friend i NY. Her mother bakes these amazing homemade dog biscuits, but her packaging and almost non-existing identity is something I usually (and rudely) describe as ‘home made’. So to help her out a bit and hopefully get more attention from upper east side princesses to west village hippies (and their four-legged friends) I did this little Teddy universe. Of cause thought as total organic packaging with double sided sleeve labels to customize the flavors, one side beef / one side chicken.
